- Might be after upgrade to network-manager-gnome 0.9.4.1-0ubuntu2.4, the item Edit Connections... at the bottom of the network manager's menu is now insensitive i.e. grayed out, therefore user cannot configure his/her connections as indicated in http://docs.xubuntu.org/1204/internet-networks.html#network-connections
