  Touchpad only recognized as mouse2 but does not offer scrolling

Bug description:
  In ubuntu settings, the touchscreen is assigned as mouse1 and has the
  two finger scrolling and other touchpad features but the touchpad as
  mouse2 only has pointer speed.
