[Bug 1071739] Re: Unable to mount Blank DVD-R Disc

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1069964 ***

Marty's workaround in post #6 did not work for me until I figured that I
also had to untick the relevant options in Nemo's configuration. It
seems that Gnome might be relying on Nautilus and its configuration
options, but it does not help to those of us who switched to Nemo after
Nautilus had been severely incapacitated.

In summary, this is what fixed the problem for me:

- in "dconf editor", untick "automount" and "automount-open" in

- in Nemo -> Edit -> Preferences, "Behavior" tab, untick "Automatically
mount removeable media when inserted on startup" and "Automatically open
a folder for automounted media".

Unable to mount Blank DVD-R Disc

Status in Gnome Settings Daemon:
Status in gnome-settings-daemon package in Ubuntu:

Bug description:
Each time I insert a blank DVD a window opens telling me that I just
inserted a blank DVD and asking what to do with it. Immediately
another window opens on top of it and reads "Unable to mount Blank
DVD-R Disc Location is already mounted"

I can click OK to get back to the first window, but the error is
really annoying and makes no sense.
