[Bug 1432419] Re: cups-browsed crashed with SIGSEGV in g_main_context_dispatch()

*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1431041 ***
    https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1431041

It is pointless, and extremely annoying, to be referred to a Private bug
when a new bug report is marked as a duplicate.

I cannot do as requested in comment #2, and will be less likely to
report bugs in future as a result.

May I suggest that once a bug is confirmed (by being duplicated) it
should automatically be changed to Public, so that the two (or more)
bugs can be discussed together?

Alternatively, at least the submitter(s) of the duplicate(s) should be
added to the subscribers list of the one selected as promary.
