Title:
  With a light background, white text is unreadable

Status in unity-greeter package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  When the desktop background is set to a light colour (close to white)
  the text on the greeter becomes unreadable. I have attached a
  screenshot showing 3 users are above the highlighted user with their
  names are not readable (plus a bonus kitten).

  $ lsb_release -rd
