- lightdm faills to start on several lenovo thinkpads (X240, X201...)
- after the latest round of 15.04 beta updates  on 20/03/15. The system

Bug description:
  lightdm fails to start on several Lenovo thinkpads (X240, X201,
  X300...) after the latest round of 15.04 beta updates on 20/03/15. The

  If the laptops are started using upstart from the "advanced" boot
  options, lightdm starts as normal on all the affected laptops.

  All had been working with systemd running 15.04 beta after earlier

  A Thinkpad T430s is still starting lightdm as normal (i.e. with a
  systemd startup) after the updates.
