Bug description:
Recent updates to 12.10 have caused a regression of bug 931967. This
is reproducible on my MacBookPro 3,1 with NVIDIA 8600M graphics.
To reproduce:
1) Cold-boot
2)Enter username and enter password at the greeter (login prompt); press enter to login
Expected results:
After entering the password, there should be a transition to the desktop. The transition might include a black screen for a moment.
Actual results:
After entering the password, there is full-screen corruption for a second or two until the desktop is drawn. The corruption looks like the system is displaying uninitialized memory.
See bug 931967 for an example screenshot.
