[Bug 1437693] Re: Restart of cups-browsed fails with "restart: Unable to connect to Upstart: Failed to connect to socket /com/ubuntu/upstart: Connection refused"

 

Note that 15.04 (Vivid) does not use Upstart any more but systemd.
Please use the systemctl command to check status of services and to
start, stop, reload, and restart them.

Please re-open if you have intendedly switche from systemd to Upstart as
process 1.

Bug description:
  In fresh 15.04 install, trying to restart cups-browsed fails with:

  restart: Unable to connect to Upstart: Failed to connect to socket
  /com/ubuntu/upstart: Connection refus

  However, things seem to be working; I see my BrowsePoll printers and
  can print to them.
