HUD fails to match some items on first use.

Bug description:
This is a strangely specific but also reliable bug. When I first
launch the application LyX (I haven't noticed this in other programs
but I don't use the HUD much in other apps), and press alt and type in
'in' to try to get an inline formula - it fails to match it. When I
fully type 'inline' no results are shown. If I then go through the
menu Insert->Math->Inline Formula an inline formula is created. After
that typing 'in' or 'inline' matches as expected. The same effect
occurs with display formula, numbered formula etc but once it has been
resolved for one of these, it is resolved for all. In fact, just
hovering over the Insert->Math menu so it pops up but without
  selecting an item resolves this.
