[Bug 1118167] Re: apport-kde crashed with PermissionError in thread_collect_info(): [Errno 1] Operation not permitted: '/var/crash/broadcom-sta-dkms.0.crash'

 

I believe this is because that broadcom-sta-dkms is run as root (thus
created a crash file at /var/crash owned as root) but you tried to read
it as a normal user?  If it is the case then it's not crash but an error
that you should run apport-kde as root in order to process that crash
file.
