The situation hito written is same with mine.
While I am typing pre-edit texts, the cursor doesn't move and '検索' ('Search' in English) is not hidden.
When I type Enter, edited text will be appeared.

My environment is wrong, sorry:

ibus: 1.3.99.20110419-1ubuntu3
ibus-anthy: 1.2.6-2ubuntu1
unity: 4.12.0-0ubuntu2
