Title:
Ctrl-A works inconsistent in search box of Nautilus
Status in One Hundred Paper Cuts:
Fix Released
Status in Nautilus:
Fix Released
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Fix Released
Bug description:
First open a search box in Nautilus (with for example Ctrl-F.)
Type something in it.
Then use Ctrl-A.
The result is that the files in the nautilus file section are
selected, in stead of the text you just typed (and for example wanted
to retype.)
Then...
Execute the search action.
Click in the middle of your search text (the search text is deselected.)
Use Ctrl-A.
The result is that the search text is selected. Which is as far as I
am concerned the correct result.
Yet The first and second result are inconsistent. I would like if the
behavior in the first case was changed.
