Title:
jackd can't connect to firewire sound card

Status in libffado package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
On Karmic beta, before and/or after applying the patch of Martin Pitt
for accessing firewire hard drives without sudo password
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/442604) , jackd can not access to my
  presonus firebox sound card.

The problem is the same using the freebob driver, or the firewire
driver. All the package about FFADO are installed. This external
firewire sound card works well with Hardy LTS, Intrepid and Jaunty. My
username is in the "disk" group, wich was the key to access to
firewire sound cards with freebob driver on previous version than
  Karmic.

So, is it a bug ? What is the way to configure ffado/freebob in
  jackd/qjackctl?

Don't hesitate to ask me to test more and report.
