I notice that you have an AMD Radeon HD 7750 / R7 250E.  I'm getting the
same thing in Ubuntu 14.04 "Trusty Tahr" on an AMD Radeon HD 7870, but
it's not restricted to Firefox.  I see it in other apps too, including
the terminal.  I've heard that it is fixed in more recent kernel/mesa
combinations such as those used in Ubuntu 15.04 "Vivid Vervet" but I'm
not able to test it at the moment?  Are you?

  It's enough to select the offenting text or to change the tab in order to get the proper rendering.
