[Bug 1445693] Re: Amarok GUI, Metadata: Rating display is broken in playlist and track details display
Dear Myriam,
thank you very much for your very helpful reply!
==> I did not change the default settings for the newly released KDE version, which seems to be Breeze.
But indeed, for testing, I tried switching to "Oxygen" in the Systemsettings module:
"Appearance" => "Workspace Theme" => "Desktop Theme"
and also in Systemsettings module:
"Appearance" => "Application Style" => "Widget Style"
which did /not/ change the broken display of the rating stars in Amarok.
However, after your tip, I once again looked through all the configuration options and, finally, the following setting fixed the display behaviour for me.
"Appearance" => "Icons"
Changing this from Breeze to Oxygen works for me; now the ratings are displayed again in Amarok.
Again, many thanks for your help!
In the long run, it would be nice to have, of course, if Amarok worked
with the default settings..

Amarok GUI, Metadata: Rating display is broken in playlist and track
details display

Bug description:
Platform Version 4.14.6
Amarok Version 2.8.0-0ubuntu4
Hi,
in the Vivid release version,
Amarok does not display the rating points (stars). Stars are shown all-grey no matter which number rating was applied.
The numerical value (0...5 stars) is shown correctly when hovering the mouse over the rating field.
See attached screenshot.
