Title:
  weird graphical glitches in 14.10

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
After performing all upgrades and installing some extra packages
(gimp, unattended updates, libreoffice, vino, openssh) and purging
some other (gnumeric, abiword) on fresh install I've started suffering
strange graphical issues (glitches) - see the attached screenshots.

Tomorrow I will try to boot once again from USB the live session to
  verify it's not hardware-related.

As for now... anybody experiencing this?
