  The display output gets corrupted. The mouse pointer is drawn correctly
  and can be moved around the display but the underlying graphics are
  messed up. Please see attached file. The same occurs both on the laptop
  display as well as when using external display over HDMI.
  
  I am using nvidia-346 graphics drivers.
