[Bug 1446041] Re: Prime-select not allowing switch

 

bumblebee and nvidia-prime won't work together. You will have to choose
one. As for gpu-manager, maybe the nvidia GPU had already been disabled
by bbswitch (as dmesg shows) when gpu-manager ran. This is probably why
gpu-manager thinks that you only have the intel GPU.

Bug description:
  I am unable to switch to my Nvidia card from my intel card. Here are
  the details: (Ubuntu-drivers-common 1:0.2.91.7)

  BUG:
  $ sudo prime-select nvidia
  Error: alternatives are not set up properly
  Error: nvidia mode can't be enabled
