[Bug 841434] Re: Libreoffice writer corrupts documents with Java enabled
Now libreoffice started marking documents as "in need of recovery" even
with Java disabled. Deleting ~/.libreoffice did not help. Opening a
document, inserting a space, saving, exiting and restarting libreoffice
yields the recovery announcement. Cancelling the recovery does it have
any visible effect on the document.
** Summary changed:
- Libreoffice writer corrupts documents with Java enabled
+ Libreoffice writer marks all saved documents as in need of recovery for no apparent reason

Title:
Libreoffice writer marks all saved documents as in need of recovery
for no apparent reason
Status in “libreoffice” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Whn Java is enabled, I get frequent random ocassions of libreoffice
.odt documents which are registered as corrupted and have to be
restored each time I open writer again. I have no idea how to repair
the infected documents. I attach one of the last casualties, my PhD
dissertation. This seems to me like a very major bug.
Please let me know what extra data I can send in order to solve this.
