[Bug 1334679] Re: Scrolling in Ubuntu causes garbled screen

Can confirm it happens on Chromium and Chrome. It seems it happens when
there's a page "tile" that hasn't been rendered and the cache struggles
to keep up. Attached a screen of both browsers open showing the bug at
the same time.

Title:
Scrolling in Ubuntu causes garbled screen

Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
When I scroll in Chromium, especially when I use the mouse wheel, I
often get a garbled screen. The attached PNG is an example from Drudge
Report, a site with pretty simple HTML. Note how the text is
discontinuous on the left and right sides.

In case it matters, I am running Ubuntu as a guest OS in a VirtualBox
  VM.
