  Gnome-session ignores xorg.conf.

Status in “gnome-session” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-session

  I am trying to configure my synaptics touchpad.

  attached /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/51-synaptics.conf

  and nearly same in /etc/X11/xorg.conf
  Still tapping does not work, log does not report anything.

  While logging tapping does work, does not matter if I log into gnome-
  shell, gnome-sessio.

  Some additional info:
