Bug description:
  3 party software packages like

  download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/4.2.4/virtualbox-4.2_4.2.4-81684~Ubuntu~quantal_amd64.deb

  and

  http://www.google.com/earth/download/thanks.html#os=linux#linux_dl=deb_64

  installed by different programs than Software-Center -like "Gdebi"-

  are not listed by Software center.

  May be Software-Center could be teached to recognize the full list of
  softeware independed of what way it was installed.
