Title:
gnome-font-viewer should run with root privilege when started from
  nautilus

Status in “gnome-control-center” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

To duplicate: open a ttf file from Nautilus. Click "Install Font".

What happens: the button becomes inactive and the text changes to
  "Install Failed".

Obviously this can be solved by just invoking it from a terminal using
  sudo like so:

  sudo gnome-font-viewer font.ttf

However, the font viewer should probably automatically elevate its
privileges the way many of the other system admin tools do since many
(most?) users won't know to do this.
