Title:
WebDAV won't connect when opened in new tab (middle click)
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
The bookmark created when connecting to a secure webDAV share won't
connect when opened with a middle click aka. in a new tab. It doesn't
work only the first time. Once connected and then disconnected again
it works as expected.
To reproduce:
-connect to a secure webDAV share and choose to create a bookmark for the connection
-"pkill nautilus"
-open nautilus and middle click the newly created link: error
original error message:
"»davs://webdav.mydrive.ch/« konnte nicht angezeigt werden. [couldn't be shown]
Fehler [error]: DBus error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.NoReply: Message did not receive a reply (timeout by message bus)
Bitte wählen Sie einen anderen Betrachter und versuchen Sie es erneut. [please choose another viewer and try again]"
(translation in square brackets)
It's most probably not a bug in nautilus itself but in the subsystem
that connects to servers or dbus.
