Title:
Nautilus should open new storage devices in a new tab when already
running
Status in “nautilus” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
Binary package hint: nautilus
This is an usability issue I found on Nautilus that I think will
improve the user experience if it's corrected.
If I connect a storage device like a pen drive or an external HD in my
computer, Ubuntu automatically opens a new Nautilus window that shows
the contents of the device. That's nice.
But if I already have a Nautilus' window opened, Ubuntu will open
another one for the connected storage device. I think will be better
if this storage device opens in a new TAB instead, if Nautilus is
open. Tabbed file browsing is a great feature in Nautilus, and I think
this will make a better use of this feature.
Thank you!
