Title:
Application calling GLX 1.3 function "glXCreatePixmap" when GLX 1.3 is
  not supported!

Status in “metacity” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: metacity

After upgrading to Maverick, Compiz stopped working, and Metacity is
used as a fallback window manager. From Terminal, I get:

  compiz --replace
WARNING: Application calling GLX 1.3 function "glXCreatePixmap" when GLX 1.3 is not supported! This is an application bug!
WARNING: Application calling GLX 1.3 function "glXDestroyPixmap" when GLX 1.3 is not supported! This is an application bug!

  Launching fallback window manager

  I believe it's Bug #433488, but I didn't post there because last
comment invited to open new bugs since that particular one was fixed.
  My graphics card is:

  lspci | grep VGA
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 82852/855GM Integrated Graphics Device (rev 02)

Please, let me know if more details are needed.
