Same case here but it's not windows version dependant,  in my case
server is: Windows Server 2008

(rdesktop works)

  Share folder not accessible in Windows 8.1

Bug description:
  After upgrade to Ubuntu 15.04, I cannot access local data any more via
  share folder option in Remmina. In remote computer (Windows) there is
  tsclient but empty.
