[Bug 1454642] Re: my xorg.conf gets renamed to xorg.conf.yyyymmdd every reboot

** Description changed:

I have a desktop with two nVidia cards and one integrated Intel driver.
My xorg.conf gets renamed to xorg.conf.yyyymmdd every single reboot and will be ignored by the system.
Tried on 14.04 LTS, then on a clear 14.10 but issue is the same.
