Yeah, and that's precisely what's ridiculous: discouraging dual boot.

It's like not recommendiung the use of laptops, or that of an external
keyboard, or some given screen resolutions.

Ubuntu should struggle to better support all normal use scenarios,
rather than picking those where it doesn't work well and say you are
"strongly advised not to do it".

At this point I'd suggest updating the documentation to state that
you're strongly advised not to use Ubuntu.

Title:
  xorg started to systematically crash after every suspend/resume

Status in xorg package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  - I suspended
  - I pressed a key to resume
  - the screen turned on and I was prompted for the password as usual
  - I entered the password

  => my previous session was lost, every application I had left open
  prior to suspend was closed, all unsaved data was lost and everything
  was as if I had just rebooted.

  Then I tried suspending and resuming again just for the sake of
  testing, and it happened again, exactly the same way.

  It now happens 100% of the times systematically.
  Now maybe (I hope) it will stop happening after a reboot, but for now, once it has started happening, it has become systematic.

  This is not the first time I observe it.
