[Bug 1293168] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in compute_drop_position()

 

there is currently a SRU in trusty-proposed that needs to be
validated/copied to updates, then we can look at backporting those
changes

  nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in compute_drop_position()

Status in gtk+3.0 package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  * Select "Recent"
  * Try to drag a PDF file from the recent view into Gmail
  * Nautilus crashes before the pointer leaves the nautilus window.

  I'm able to reproduce it about 50% of the time a drag a file and 100%
  of the time if the drag is over the "Desktop" item in the left pane.
  Desktop is set to Home dir.
