[Bug 856221] Re: software-center crashed with SIGABRT in raise()
Sorry that nobody could resolve this bug report before Ubuntu 11.10
expired. There have been many changes to Ubuntu Software Center since
then, so the bug may have been fixed. If you still experience it in a
current version (14.04 or 15.04), please reopen the report.

time I tried, it opened like it's supposed to.
