Title:
video mode switches make graphical processes unstable?
Status in xserver-xorg-video-intel package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
Not sure what to hang this on. I have a Lenovo T550 with an Intel
HD5500.
It barely worked in Ubuntu 14.04 so here we are on 15.04 beta.
light-locker seems to change video mode, so logging out and logging in again breaks the desktop.
xscreensaver does not suffer from this problem.
Sometimes I get weird sideways-scrolling of the entire display
(analogue tv anyone?)
