Title:
No sound output through docking station headphones jack for Dell
  Latitude E5450

Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  1) Release: 15.04

  2) I do not know the package or version.

  3) Expected: I expect sound to be output from the speaker that is
connected to the headphones jack of my docking station.

  4) Actual: No sound output at all.

I have this problem with my new computer: Dell Latitude E5450/5450
(Late 2014) Service Tag: 4W7RQ32. I can confirm that the docking
station and speaker both work, as I did not have this problem on my
older Dell Latitude E5420 (Early 2011) Service Tag: 1WW25S1 running
  Ubuntu version 14.04LTS
