[Bug 1424491] Re: apt-get fails to install fglrx or fglrx-updates in 14.04.2 and 12.04.5

No. My question is about the driver causing the system to crash. It's
not about be unable to install the drivers. After I install the driver,
rebooting fails and stops at a particular point, as I described above.

Bug description:

  SRU Request:

  [Impact]
fglrx cannot be installed correctly together with the new lts stacks.

  [Test case]
Installing the xserver from lts-utopic will prevent the current fglrx from being installed. The new fglrx will install correctly

  [Regression potential]
Low. This fglrx release is already in use in 15.04 without any major issues.
