  While running

  Description:	Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS
  Release:	14.04

  I ran

  apt-get dist-upgrade

  via. the terminal and installed

  The following NEW packages will be installed:
    linux-headers-3.13.0-44 linux-headers-3.13.0-44-generic
    linux-image-3.13.0-44-generic linux-image-extra-3.13.0-44-generic
  The following packages will be upgraded:
    linux-headers-generic linux-image-generic

  when the error dialog appeared.  I have not seen an adverse effects
  related to the auto-generated error dialog yet.  Running

  glxgears

  produces the expected rendering with no apparent errors.

  I had previously run

  apt-get upgrade

  via. the terminal and declined to install the preceding packages.
