[Bug 1466821] Re: Opt-out Chrome Hotword Shared Module
Chad Miller, thanks for the quick response.
>"Is this really a problem?"
While it wouldn't appear to be the highest priority issue for chromium-
browser (why I marked Medium versus High+, although it may be bordering
on Low at your discretion) given how Ubuntu wouldn't ship with NaCl
support, I would still like to reclaim the disk space that was forced
upon me without my consent.
>"I don't think Debian does..."
As per https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=786909#46 they
disable hotword, despite NaCl being disabled at build time.

Title:
Opt-out Chrome Hotword Shared Module
Status in chromium-browser package in Ubuntu:
Triaged
Bug description:
This is the Ubuntu version of:
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=786909
With upstream fix to allow disabling of the "enable_hotwording" build flag at compile time:
https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=491435
It would be nice if we could disable this at build time, in turn
staying in sync with Debian.
