Title:
Inconsistent password requirement policy
Status in “gnome-screensaver” package in Ubuntu:
Expired
Bug description:
In Ubuntu 10.04 password is optional during login, but when the computer wakes from hibernation password is asked for, irrespective of whether it is required during login or not.
Since I don't have the suspend option, I don't know what happens during resuming from suspend but I guess the issue is there also.
