Title:
incorrect monitor resolution on clean lucid install - nvidia/Hyundai
  B70A

Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: xorg

When ubuntu booted up after install it was only possible to select
resolutions up to 1024x768 even though the monitor is natively
1280x1024. Using the restricted drivers did not help.

Editing the xorg.conf is a workaround. The attached information is
gathered after I copied xorg.conf from a previous ubuntu installation,
and the resolution is here correctly set to 1280x1024. I can revert
back to the original (bad) lucid configuration file and run the
ubuntu-bug tool again if that information is needed.

Let me know if I should provide more information.
