  tty broken using nvidia proprietary drivers

  Hi there, 
  i'm using up to date Lucid Lynx, and since a few weeks, my tty's are broken :(

  By broken, i mean that when i start a tty, say ctrl + alt + F1 for
  tty1, it's misplaced at the bottom of the screen. I can only see the
  top sentence of the tty login promt, but at the bottom of the sreen.

   A few weeks ago, i used a how-to to get a proper Plymouth over there http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=8925365 .
   I dont know if it's linked to the issue i'm having tho.
