Title:
Very high Xorg memory usage with twin view, GeForce 9600 GS and nvidia
driver
Status in nvidia-graphics-drivers package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: xorg
From some time - I bet since either some nvidia driver update or
switching to dual monitor config , the memory usage started to
growing, after a day of using multiple windows etc Xorg can eat few
hundreds of MBs, closing all aps and even log out from KDE don't help,
memory is left after full Xorg restart. At the moment my Xorg utilizes
707MB virtual, 549MB private and 13MB shared memory.
