[Bug 1167808] Re: package nvidia-current 304.88-0ubuntu0.1 failed to install/upgrade: Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should reinstall it before attempting a removal.

 

That version is no more supported; please open a new  bug report if the
actual archive found version also has the same issue.

  Already reported as a presumed kernel init bug ... workaround is to
  boot Windows first, then soft boot "Start -> Restart" back to GRUB and
  let it launch Ubuntu.
