  ubuntu-geoip-provider does not terminate at computer shutdown

Bug description:
  It happens sometimes, my computer stalls on reboot - shutdown. I was
  suspecting modem manager because it was the last line I show on
  console output. Something like: could not find service name for
  org.freedesktop.modemmanager1
