[Bug 1373951] Re: reattaching second pointer causes the X-server to restart

 

For me the second cursor is created on the screen. But the xserver hangs
when I try to move it or click its button.

Bug description:
  Followed the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/MPX for adding a second mouse pointer and X-server hangs.
  1. Connect a second mouse
  2. xinput list
  3. xinput create-master Second
  4. "sleep 1 && xinput reattach <second mouse> <Second Pointer>

  system hangs within a seconds after staring to move the second mouse.
