  software-center trunk r2275, Ubuntu 11.10 beta 1

  1. Open Synaptic.
  2. Choose to install or remove something in USC.
  3. Navigate to "Progress".

  What you see: A determinate progress bar.
  What you should see: An indeterminate progress bar.
