[Bug 1479627] [NEW] X boots to black screen with cursor

 

Public bug reported:

Unable to use computer when I try booting with monitors connected to it.

dmesg indicates that nouveau is crashing


I'm having many problems with ubuntu 15.04 that may all be related:

This was not an issue on ubuntu 14.10
