Message #13028
[Bug 634999] Re: Adding a PPA doesn't look like it worked if it does not contain packages
** Description changed:
+ (This bug may be masked by, or may be a duplicate of, bug 782953, where
+ USC doesn't show *any* recently-added PPA.)
+
Ubuntu Software Center 2.1.18, Ubuntu Maverick
software-center-gtk3 trunk r2119, Ubuntu Ocelot
From test case sc-013 <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#channels>:
1. Launch USC.
2. Add a PPA in Software Sources.
3. Open the “All Software” menu.
What should happen: "the PPA should be shown in the menu".
What actually happens: An hour later, the PPA item has not appeared.
(Even after closing and relaunching USC, it still doesn't appear.)
-
- (This also causes test case sc-008 to fail.)
