  3) What is expected via https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/846873/+attachment/2384873/+files/ORelly-Running%20Linux%204th%20Edition.pdf is when one goes to page 58 of the book, at the bottom it shows the entire command, as it does in Adobe Reader:
