Message #130626
[Bug 1481755] [NEW] package libjpeg62:amd64 6b1-4ubuntu1 failed to install/upgrade: package message a startup. Cancellation of messages let me boot up Ubuntu normally
Public bug reported:
When booting up this message popped up. I use ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS on a X64 system. I also use the non open source NVIDEA linux driver x86-x64 version 340.76. Maybe that is causing the issue? the version of the libjpeg62 package is according to the apt-cache policy print out:
libjpeg62:
installed: 6b1-4ubuntu1
Candidate: 6b1-4ubuntu1
Versiontabel:
*** 6b1-4ubuntu1 0
500 http://nl.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ trusty/main amd64 Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Do i have to completely remove the package and what will hapen when i do
so? Seems pretty imporatant to me. Hope you can help me out.
