[Bug 1459369] Re: bluetooth sync contacts
>From the log it looks like obexd never gets any request to do something
like transfering the phonebook. @Carl: Rather than starting obexd
manually can you leave it as it is and modify
/usr/share/dbus-1/services/obexd.service to include the -d switch? If
you did that please also follow
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingBluetooth to get more verbose bluetooth
log files. After applying all changes do a reboot and reproduce the
issue without further touching the device.

Title:
bluetooth sync contacts
Status in obexd package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
My bq connect to my bluetooth radio/hands free car kit, but it doesn't sync my contacts.
My contacts are from google. They are visible on my phone.
I can receive phone calls, and the call goes to the car kit.
But for dailing, I need to compose the number on the car kit.
The phone book is empty.
When connected with bluetooth, and I choose the number on my phone, the car kit doesn't take over.
I did the following for the log:
phablet@ubuntu-phablet:~$ /usr/lib/obexd/obexd -n -d > obexd.log 2>&1 &
My car kit is from an Opel Astra.
