Tested with GIT sane 1.025 git, commit
425edc705e6323353bf99f58c277dc4f0fe47deb
Fixes it for me on my 110.

Bug description:
I have a Canon LIDE 110 scanner which works by default on ubuntu 13.04.
The problem is after first scan, I can not scan for second time. I need to reconnect the USB cable to use the scanner again.
# TEST 1 : without reconnecting the usb cable
